Happy WIC Week - Spring is in the Air!

*Excellent work & KUDOS to the Portland chapter for the Oregon State Proclamation!*
If you missed the Oregon Coast Retreat be sure to attend next year.  The Eugene chapter did a fabulous job putting the retreat together.  It was great to meet so many new ladies and to hear their differing perspectives.

I don't know about you, but I can't believe we are rapidly approaching the second quarter and that Forum is just 5 short weeks away.  I recently returned from Mid Year Board in Atlanta and I'm happy to report that the hotel is HUGE and you'll be able to find just about anything you might want or need within about a 5 block radius.  Be sure to research the $2.50 train from the airport that drops you into a shopping court about a block and a half from the hotel (all indoor walking).  We had a productive meeting, with Strategic Plan Updates and Jill and I will be sharing the SOA's with you at Forum.

If you haven't had the opportunity to meet our Director Elect - Kelly Aust be sure to attend Forum and introduce yourself.  You can also congratulate her on winning an Oregon Stater Award from the Council of Outstanding Early Career Engineers.  This is reserved for Oregon Staters who have distinguished themselves through professional practice and/or service to OSU, the profession, or society at large. These individuals have made early career contributions that identify them as future leaders in their profession or field.  To read more about it click here: https://engineering.oregonstate.edu/oregon-stater-awards/council
