February Message from your Region Director

PNW Sisters and WIC,

Man oh man, where did February go?  Between WIC Week and  Forum planning, returning to the office after another stint of working from home, and the drama and chaos (my) adult children seem hell-bent on causing, I lost track of time. And ran out of time. We held our Region Leadership meeting February 8th, set up our Region WIC Week Happy Hour, met with some incredible women who are leading the charge to charter a new Chapter in the PNW and we’ve been working on the hotel for Forum 2023 in Alaska!  I’m also part of National’s Outreach Task force that’s been  meeting regularly to get things going for the Project Excellence awards, reaching out to our Industry Task Force leaders who I hope you’ll hear from at Forum in April and I leave for Texas on Thursday for mid-year board and the Construction Education Consortium NAWIC/NEF participates in.

So, to make it easy for you to digest, I’ll try to keep this mini newsletter short and sweet. There’s a ton going on so thanks for your patience in reading through the below:

Central Oregon Chapter Charter

A HUGE shout out and round of applause to Charris Sonne-Phinney, Portland #54, Juli Foscoli, Salem #196 and Elizabeth House, Tri-Cities, #192 for their continued efforts in working with an amazing group of women to (fingers crossed) charter a Central Oregon Chapter!  Thee three have attended meetings, planned events, and made phone calls, and sent emails to ensure our new potential Chapter members have all the info they need, all their questions answered, and feel a warm and energetic welcome.  Please see the attached flyer for the next information meeting and jump on the call if you can. The more the merrier.
